My husband has been telling me for years that he is close to picking up rank and blah blah blah - all I have to do is this. WELL THEN DO IT. During deployment he did everything necessary hoping to pick up while out there but then some D-bag lost his stuff so he has had to re do it. Some of which he got done before he came home but then left there. Well once they got home everyone went on leave and he kept telling me he was trying to get shit and never did. (He got home around thanksgiving) He finally got the stuff this month so I’ve been BEGGING him to do it all month — still isn’t done. And I was hoping he would turn the shit in yesterday so that he could FINALLY pick up March 1. Well … at 230 I gave him a pep talk because all he kept doing was falling asleep (and watching tv i bet). I get home at just after 4 and he STILL ISN’T DONE. Mind you all he has to do is look through a pdf file and then find answers to questions and circle them. And the answers aren’t hard to find. It is now going on 5 and he is still doing it (had the tv on before but I caught him watching it so I made him turn it off). 

I feel like I treat him like a child but he has no motivation, will power, want, desire, or anything!!!!!! He tells me he wants to get it done pick up rank and be a lifer in the military - then why aren’t you doing ANYTHING!!!! I have seriously had enough of this and him picking up rank is going to be the biggest relief ever. (if it ever happens).

On another note: I am about to go eat Panda Express for the last time! (for a long time anyways). Lent means no dining out and no soda as always except this year I intend to extend it much past lent!
