Thursday marks the end of cardio for the week and I like to end it with a real challenge - running!!! I am pretty sure (husband made me run without an iPod) I made it a mile before we stopped to stretch at the light then I made it to the 2 mile mark (we have done this route before just not sure the EXACT points that marks the miles) with only walking briefly for 1min. The 3rd mile is the hardest for me and my calves were tightening so bad today probably because its been forever since I’ve run .. but I managed to make it all the way home only walking/stretching a few more times at a slower pace.
My husband had to leave me for a bit to take a detour to go check one of his guys brks rooms and then when he finally caught up to me he was so shocked at how far I had made it and told me I must have been hauling ass (mind you I run between a 1030-1230min mile) because I was WAYYY further than he thought I would have been when it came time to catch up to me. =D Yayy. He is impressed however I’m disappointed in myself that I couldn’t just keep running.
Diet - Probably didn’t eat enough BUT ..
Kashi go lean berry crunch with skim milk, strawberries, pb&j on whole wheat, apple, protein shake, chicken.
